Os prémios ASIAGO é uma das distinções mais importantes que um selo pode ter. 

Esta distinção é atribuida pela Asiago International Awards for Philatelic Art e tem o Alto Patrocinio do Presidente da República Italiana.

A emissão de selos dos CTT com o tema “ANO INTERNACIONAL DOS SOLOS" acabou de receber este galardão.

Esta é a oitava vez que, nos últimos 45 anos, os CTT ganham o prémio ASIAGO, reforçando a filatelia portuguesa como uma das mais prestigiadas e admiradas no mundo.
O design é da minha autoria!

A 3 de março de 2016 é publicado nos CTT online que a emissão portuguesa do selo "Ano Internacional da Luz e Ano Internacional dos Solos" (lançados a 4 de outubro de 2015 com a colaboração da SPF), foi considerada a mais original em todo o mundo, pela revista mensal l’Arte del Francobollo de fevereiro de 2016.

A edição nº55, daquela que é a mais conhecida e prestigiada revista italiana de filatelia e de numismática, divulgou os resultados periódicos da votação pela internet que costuma eleger os selos mais originais de cada trimestre.

A habitual eleição, feita pelos leitores através das redes sociais, considerou que o conjunto de quatro selos emitidos pelos CTT terá sido o mais original ao abordar a decisão das Nações Unidas em proclamar 2015, simultaneamente, como o Ano Internacional da Luz e o Ano Internacional dos Solos.

O “Ano Internacional da Luz” foi representado em dois selos de €0,45, separados por serrilha, que compõem uma imagem onde coexistem o universo, o sol, a galáxia, a lua e painéis solares fotovoltaicos. O “Ano Internacional dos Solos” foi revelado noutros dois selos, com idêntica
franquia e forma, onde a imagem de uma ampulheta exibe terra, plantas, flores, legumes e raízes, que evocam a fertilidade dos solos como garante da prosperidade dos povos e das gerações vindouras. O design é da minha autoria.

CTT Stamp Collection - Apicultura Açores 2013

It is with great pleasure that I present the new collection of stamps launched last week 
called -  APICULTURA from AZORES island, six illustrations made by me for 
CTT Portuguese Stamp. 
They are altogether 4 stamps and 2 souvenir sheets where bees, flowers and the wonderfull
AZORES landscape are the main characters!
